Cap Streeter, Circa 1982
When Streeter realized that a growing throng of enemies would attempt to force him off "his" land, he replaced the Maria with this two-story house that he built onto an old scow. The first floor was Streeter's war room; the second floor was his residence. One of the structure's features was a retrievable ladder. This picture is circa 1892.
